Clean-ish Beauty for Women 35+ ✨
Beauty over 35 is often framed as a false choice:
❌ Mainstream products packed with ingredients that quietly make skin and hair worse
❌ “Clean beauty” that’s either ineffective, fear-driven, or wildly overpriced
Conscious Glow is the third option.
Hi, I’m Cetana Das — but most people call me Chet.
My first name (pronounced Chet-na) means consciousness in Sanskrit, and that meaning shaped everything this space stands for.

Conscious Glow is a clean-ish beauty platform for women 35+ navigating hormonal skin, PCOS chaos, hair shedding, sensitivity, and the realities of ageing — without perfection pressure.
Here, you’ll find:
- Skincare that actually works for changing skin
- Mineral SPFs that respect melanin-rich and sensitive skin
- Makeup that glows without the BS
- Ingredient guides that cut through fear, fluff, and false binaries
I don’t believe in “perfectly clean.” I believe in informed, effective, transparent choices — products that perform in real life and are honest about their trade-offs.
My goal is simple: to help you glow smarter, not stricter — with clarity, confidence, and options that actually make sense
The Conscious Glow Philosophy
At Conscious Glow, we believe beauty shouldn’t come with compromises.
It’s not about chasing perfection — it’s about choosing products that work for real women living real lives.
🌟 Accessible Glow
Glow shouldn’t feel out of reach. Thoughtful, effective beauty belongs in everyday routines — not just luxury vanities.
🌟 Real Results, No Pressure
We don’t promise perfect skin. Glow is about progress, consistency, and what actually holds up in real life.
🌟 Conscious Flexibility
We go clean where it counts — and stay flexible where it makes sense. No guilt, no extremes, no performative purity.
🌟 Ageing with Attitude
Glow doesn’t expire at 35. We respect lines, texture, change — and the confidence that comes with experience.
🌟 Honest Beauty, No BS
Marketing hype doesn’t serve women. Transparency does. Every recommendation comes with ingredient context, clear reasoning, and straight answers.
Why You Can Trust Me: A Background Beyond Beauty

I don’t come from the influencer world — and that’s exactly why I see beauty differently.
My career began in government, working on social policy programs designed to shape communities and tackle real-world problems. I later moved into management consulting, where I delivered complex programs across aged care, defence, and disaster resilience.
One of those projects involved leading the design of a Multi-Hazard Prevention AI & Data Platform — a system built to help predict, manage, and reduce the impact of natural disasters. My role wasn’t about the tech for tech’s sake; it was about shaping a framework that decision-makers could actually use under pressure.
Across every role — whether steering complex reform, leading cross-functional teams, or translating technical systems into something practical — my focus stayed the same: cut through the noise, find what matters, and make it usable.
That same rigour and clarity is what I bring to Conscious Glow.
Instead of policy briefs or data models, I’m now untangling ingredient lists, marketing spin, and endless “miracle” claims — applying the same analytical lens to beauty and wellness.
I’m not here to sell a fantasy. I’m here to make beauty make sense — with structure, transparency, and respect for real skin, real bodies, and real life.

Beyond Beauty
When I’m not testing skincare or decoding ingredient lists, you’ll usually find me walking around Lake Ginninderra or grabbing the mic at karaoke.
I’ve always had a soft spot for hip hop dance and R&B— because for me, beauty isn’t just about skin or hair.

It’s about joy, rhythm, confidence, and feeling good in your body.
That sense of ease and self-trust is what I try to build into everything at Conscious Glow.
